Born in 1980 in Bursa, Assoc. Prof. Dr. V. Lale Bakır graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 2004. She completed her specialization in obstetrics and gynecology at Zeynep Kamil Women's Hospital in 2010. After completing her compulsory service at Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital, she became a chief assistant at Haseki Training and Research Hospital.
In 2018-2019, she received training in the IVF Unit at Istanbul Faculty of Medicine and started her master's degree in stem cell and tissue engineering at Istinye University. In 2019, she conducted research at the Stem Cell Laboratory at the University of Illinois (USA) and published esteemed scientific articles. She was awarded the title of Associate Professor in the same year.
Dr. Bakır specializes in infertility treatments, IVF, gynecological surgeries, pregnancy and childbirth monitoring, and stem cell therapies. She currently works at Şişli Memorial Hospital's Women's Health, IVF, and Reproductive Health Center, conducting research on artificial ovarian tissue development. In 2024, she opened her clinic at Fulya Academy.
